Vejledning og skabelon til at løse opgaven
Den samlede eksaminationstid for opgave 1-6 er 5 timer. Besvarelsen bedømmes som en helhed ud fra de faglige mål for niveauet. Der lægges vægt på beherskelsen af det engelske sprog, forståelse af forlægget og færdighed i skriftlig fremstilling på engelsk.

Det anbefales, at du skriver din besvarelse i skabelonen, som ligger under Toolbox i menuen til venstre. Besvarelsen afleveres i ét dokument med opgaverne i rækkefølgen 1-6.

Hjælpemidler
Alle hjælpemidler er tilladt ved besvarelse af opgavesættet. Kommunikation med omverdenen er ikke tilladt.

Emma studies the bee and the butterfly through the microscope. Outside the laboratory, she and her colleague get on the bus. Opgave 4


The sentences below, which are from two different texts, have been jumbled.

  1. Write a summary of “The Chemist’s Assistant” in about 150 words.

  2. Write a short analytical essay (at least 300 words) about “The Chemist’s Assistant”. You must focus on the main character, Colette (Lecky).

    Include the following analytical terms in your essay:
    setting, point of view, relationship, the ending

  3. Taking your starting point in the short story, discuss possible reasons why children might shoplift.

    Use at least two phrases from the box below in your discussion.

    Include the following analytical terms in your essay:

  3. Taking your starting point in one of the two texts, discuss whether it is a positive or negative development for society that more people choose to live alone.

    Use at least two phrases from the box below in your discussion.
